Wild Western Weekend
The Club at Carlton Woods is always busy this time of year with parties, wine dinners, golf tournaments and amazing galas. A few weeks ago they had a spectacular western weekend as a kick off to their annual member guest gala. So here is a sneak peak at the weeks earlier events.
Western themes can vary from bandannas and burlap to wild sun flowers and wheat grass. It just depends of what type of... -
I Do...
... is a phrase that many happy couples are uttering this month! The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center has a beautiful deck overlooking the golf course and a lake with a fountain that has it's own gazebo tucked away among the tall pine trees. This spot is a true favorite for brides. With it's beautiful scenery you can easily see why.
This couple, with their white and purple color scheme chose... -
August Wine Dinner
With the end of August in sight the vibrant fall colors are in full swing. Every store is now sporting fall decor {and some even have Christmas... yikes!} but at the shop we can't get enough of the rich colors of fall.
The decor for this wine diner at The Club at Carlton Woods was truly beautiful. With rich colors as a base and pops of bright green and indigo purples the flowers jumped off the... -
Champagne in June
With a timeless soft white, fresh green and champagne color scheme this wedding was truly stunning. The rehearsal dinner was Friday night at the bride's home. We used a cluster of bud vases each filled with either an anthirium, rose, or rannuncula and accents of grass on half the tables and on the head table, while the other tables held a low, full and luscious arrangement with a mix of hydrangea,... -
Mother's Day... part 2
Yes we are still talking about Mother's Day in June! But really, we should always be finding ways to honor our precious Mothers, right? These were the arrangements at the Nicklaus club house at Carlton Woods Mother's Day weekend. They were made in rich peach and orange tones which coordinate perfectly with the club house. -
Time Period Parties...
... are always more fun! We recently made fun arrangements in vintage malt glasses for a 50's themed party at The Club at Carlton Woods. The bright vibrant colors stood out and created a fun and youthful ambiance throughout the room. Fun accents like aluminum wire and color changing lights helped add to the party atmosphere! -

It was the perfect setting to celebrate such a momentous occasion. With her existing color scheme and pops of orange the decor was absolutely stunning. -
This is how we ring in the New Year.
There is nothing quite as fun and vibrant contrast in color when working with flowers. One of my favorites (as is probably very evident) is black, white and green! We had a blast creating these beautiful pieces for The Club at Carlton Woods' New Years Eve party.
These beautiful buffet pieces were truly striking. With strong line and movement they were the focal pieces of the room.
There were 3... -

Walking in a Winter Wonderland
There is something so cozy about chocolate and cream color schemes. It reminds me of hot chocolate with a dolop of whipped cream on top; the type of drink you'd have on a chilly winter day while your wrapped up in your favorite blanket sitting in front of the fire.
We created a forest of birch trees accented by a canopy of twinkle lights and hanging votive candles. Each centerpiece was filled with... -
Pave'd Centerpieces
These gorgeous centerpieces were made for a gentlemen's golf team dinner at The Club at Carlton Woods. Every now and then it's nice to change your decor up a bit. It can be as simple as changing a color or making something taller, but in this case we did the opposite; we went short or more appropriately, pave'd.
Pave' is a technique where everything is kept short and clustered together for dramatic... -
